Now hiring for an Assembler in Manchester, OH. Pay rate is $14.00 per hour with a schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Job duties include reading customer prints and internal work orders, following instructions, working with hands to grasp small to large objects for cables, inspecting and reporting work, and all other duties as assigned.
Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred, with previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training beneficial.
Experience requirements include entry-level candidates encouraged to apply, with the ability to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards, safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required, strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality, and ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
Preferred qualifications include previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience, experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products, and knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices.
Physical capabilities include the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift, ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment, and ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
